Diwali time

I really like to start my blogs with questions! This way I feel I'm stimulating thinking power of all the readers.

I'm sure majority of my Indian patrons would be busy with Diwali preparations. Specially in north India, people are on their toes for shopping and distributing spree. It is such a common phenomenon of each household to prepare their list of people whom they've to visit and distribute Diwali gifts.

Then there are whole lot of people who have to return the favor by giving away the gifts too. But then here starts the business of showing-off. "Should I buy something more expensive than what I've got or should I just buy something in the similar range and reciprocate my feelings." - this is the thought that goes in the minds of number of people.

I would rather go by the notion that you should buy whatever you have to buy for whosoever you want to buy that suits your budget and that goes with the likings of your recipient. Don't ever get into the act of reciprocating for establishing your status or for showing off your money because "Money can buy you everything but not feelings!"

Don't do anything just for the heck of doing it. Do something because you like doing that. Follow something because you really see the logic behind that. Culture and traditions are two words being purely defined by the society, they are created by the humans. The ones who created it want to follow it religiously, others who are being forced to follow envision a change in that. That is how we can build upon a strong culture and value based traditions. Envisioning the change should not be considered as a rebel against the societal norms, rather this should be welcomed by all as an effort to redefine something that is bringing in valuable thoughts for the next generation too.

I hope you all will agree with this and pledge to bring about a system that gives logic to our next generation for all the values that we want to imbibe in them from the core of our heart.

With this highly intellectual thought, I would like to wish all the readers a very happy Diwali and a prosperous New Year ahead!

Relationships

Hey folks,

Hope you are now connected with me and you are with me for the ideologies that I stand for!

I would like to ask you all - What do you think relationships mean? What value do they have in your life?

Or let me start by saying relationships define us as social animals. God created us to be social, so why not nurture the value and strength of each relationship. I know many of you would think relationships as just the relationships between husband and wife or may be between girlfriend and boyfriend. But there is more to it, a broader perspective which we all should appreciate and evolve with time.

We need to understand that every emotion associates us with a relationship. It is then for both the parties to add value to it. This is done by laying a foundation of trust in it and then it is to be built upon with utmost care and affection. The bond has to grow with respect, mutual agreement to disagreement and above all appreciating the personal space which one might be looking for.

I feel blessed to share such relationship with my parents, brother, husband, son and of course in-laws as well! There are professional bonds too that fall in this category that has broadened my horizon to contribute to the best on my capabilities in every sphere of my life. Calling the phase of life as sphere adds that three-dimensional effect to the values that I want to talk about.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed to maintain and nurture these relationships with time and hope that each bond gets stronger day by day.

I'll catch you soon with some interesting stuff that would add this three-dimensional statistics to your existence...Keep reading!

Promise to myself

I'm feeling very delighted today; I've promised myself to be what I want to be! I want to bring about a revolution, a reformation, a wave that takes me through this phase and establish myself as a professional writer and contributor in the intellectual industry.

I'm pleased to introduce myself as a self-starter who wants to bring about a change in the future of the nation by educating the society dwellers about what is the need of the hour, how to upbring the children, how to cultivate positive family atmosphere, how to nurture relationships, and how to discard or disown silly stupid traditional rituals that are nothing but a wastage of time, money and energy.

I want to bring about a change that helps the society see a new face and a new era where nothing but only the education would matter, where the relationships would stand on the strong foundation of love, care and affection sans money and status of parents, where each family member would be treated with equal respect irrespective of the typical north-Indian notion of worshipping son-in-law and daughters!

I hope this blog can bring a big sigh of relief to all the patrons of this thought. I would need the support from everyone who believes in this ideology...
